The 5th Annual Clean and green Golf tournament will be held Saturday April 5th at Riverview Golf Course. The four-ball tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 am.  Lunch is included in the $160.00 entry fee.  Call Riverview Golf Course at 275-4064 to register or the KDLB office @272 5162 for more information.

KDLB will host a Great American Clean Up Community Fair on Saturday, April 16th, 9 am until 2 pm, at the Farmers Market on Madison Street.   
-- The Recycling Fair will collect electronics as well as Single Stream Recyclables.  
-- Electronics collection will also be offered Friday, April 15th, from 2 pm until 5 pm.  
-- Master Gardeners will be holding a plant sale and giving out composting information.  
-- Shred Cycle will collect and shred up to 3 bags of documents for recycling.

 Also on the 16th, Community groups will gather at the market  to join in the Great American Clean Up Neighborhood Challenge hosted  by the Oconee High School National Alumni Association.  To register bring a "before" photo of the area you will be improving along with your volunteer help.  Keep Dublin-Laurens Beautiful, Inc. will provide litter sticks, trash bags and signage.  An "after" photo will be judged and the winning team will be awarded either First, Second, or Third Place  prizes.  Lunch for registered participants will follow.

The Carl Vinson VA Medical Center will sponsor a Community Earth Day Fair on Thursday April 21st 10:30 am until 1:00 pm.  Educational booths and fun environmental activates will be featured on the front lawn.
