CURE Childhood Cancer TM

      The Irish Reelers are involved in their community.  We participate in local parades, festivals and other events, throughout the year,  to promote our club and square / round dancing in Georgia.  We have performed, by invitation, in Nursing Homes and shopping malls in the area.  Our biggest community service project, however, is CURE Childhood Cancer TM. 

          Just like yours, our heart goes out to children who are suffering with childhood diseases such as cancer and leukemia.  That's why we are involved with CURE (Children's United Research Effort).  CURE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding a cure for childhood cancers.  You can help too!   ... see below!

Excerpt from the CURE Report:

     The Irish Reelers will gladly accept donations directly for CURE!  Simply contact any club member or mail your contributions to the address listed below.  You can be involved in another way, however, and have fun for a worthy cause!  The Irish Reelers' largest annual fund raising project is the CURE 4-Man Golf Scramble.  Last year's golf scramble was a big success and we hope that this year will be even better!
